Membership in the HCDBC allows you to build and grow in your community by civic engagement.

As member of the HCDBC you will help our mission to:

– Outreach to help deliver black voters to the polls

– Vet candidates with interviews and political forums

– Educate voters on the best candidates to vote for in elections

– Fundraise to raise money to further our mission

– Install Black Precinct captains help to get out the vote in Hillsborough County neighborhoods

– Work with like-minded organizations, clubs and caucus to combat voter suppression, protect reproductive rights, defend the teaching of Black History, protect civil rights and affirmative action
